Limit business hours to the busiest and most productive time

You do not need to conform to the typical nine to five workweek. If you find that the largest amount of your customers arrive during the evenings, then think about closing during daytime hours. If all your business is carried out on the weekend, perhaps you want to stay closed during the week or be available by appointment only. Operating costs and employee salaries for “doing nothing” work is just like throwing money away. This will not work for all industries, but limiting your business hours can be a smart idea.
