Reuse or sell waste materials from your manufacturing process
Try to throw away as little usable material as possible from your manufacturing process. Throwing away any usable material is like throwing money away. For example, many restaurants turn left over ingredients into soups or stews to be served the following day.
Do you cut fabrics or leather to create your main product, but in doing so leave a 1-inch strip of waste? Turn this into something like a belt or wrist cuff that is an accessory to your main product. If you have no interest in creating a second product line, perhaps you can sell your remnants to someone else who can reuse that material. You could also market this as a “green” feature of your company.
