You may already conduct annual performance reviews of your staff, but do you do them for your business as a whole? An annual business performance review will give you a bigger picture of your overall success and failure throughout the year. Some things to look at are:

Did you have a sales spike, and can you explain why?

Is a vast majority of your business done during one season of the year?

How can you increase sales during the rest of the year?

What projects did not meet up to your expectations? ‘

How did changes and other decision you make affect the business over the course of 12 months?

Looking at your business as a whole will help you to better plan for the future by studying the events of the past.
