Monitor effectiveness of advertising campaigns
Many types of advertising do not work. You need to monitor the success rates of the ads you use and eliminate those that are not effective. Track the number of customers you normally have per day, and see if that number increases when you run specific ad campaigns. If you offer coupons in local circulars or newspapers, count how many people redeem the coupons. Look at the click through rate of website advertising and traffic to make sure that traffic to your website increases.
