Small Business Can Outsource to Save on Labor Costs

outsource

Outsource manufacturing, parts, ingredients, customer service or production to countries where labor is less expensive per hour.

Many large U.S. companies have been moving their manufacturing facilities to other counties including Mexico, India, China and the Philippines. The U.S. Federal minimum wage is currently $7.25 per hour in 2013. The lower labor costs can be a big motivator to outsource labor to another country. It is also a good idea to look for overseas manufacturers who sell products to you directly at lower costs. If you can deal directly with the manufacturer of a product you are selling, you can qualify for the wholesale rate instead of dealing with the middleman reselling to you and taking a cut above the wholesale price of the product.
